The Breakfast Club

Don’t you forget to step back into 1984 and join us in detention, where five misfit students discover an unexpected friendship, all under the close watch of stern headteacher Vernon.

Meet the brain, the athlete, the basket case, the princess and the criminal. As the clock ticks on, appearances break down and we discover that behind comedy often lies tragedy. Vulnerabilities are uncovered, exposing the fraudulence of high-school stereotypes.

This makes for an unusually wholesome and nostalgic day at school.

So, don’t even think about skipping detention. You won’t want to miss this one.

Yours Sincerely, The Breakfast Club.

Starring Jaimie Grainger, Thomas Lowe, Emma Jarman, Cameron Ferguson, Oleta Wright and Mary Mahoney

As a guide, for those in full time employment we would appreciate you donating between £5 and £10. We also understand people's income can be precarious, hence the lower price options. All revenue from ticket sales for events at New Adelphi Theatre will always go back to support professional artists, through residencies, commissions, touring work or for more bespoke projects where the student experience is enhanced through co-creation with arts professionals. We thank you for all your continued support.

Please note all bookings and donations come with a 50p booking fee.

For students on Performance course, please check Blackboard for information about ticket discounts.
