THE FIRST SMALL SINGLE LAUNCH
Small are a Brighton-based three-piece, bringing you a heavy dose of sharp and sad indie rock, an amalgam of Boygenius, Frightened Rabbit and Franz Ferdinand, with a dash of trans girl angst.
Their debut single, 'Compassion', is an emphatic response to loss. Tightly woven intricacies dissolve into a thrashing rise and fall of tension, foregrounding an unapologetic reflection on disbelief, anger and blame.
'Compassion' was recorded and mixed by Phoebe Bentham at Brighton Electric, mastered by Katie Tavini at Weird Jungle, and will be released on 19th February, accompanied by a music video filmed and edited by Rosie Powell.
Bee & Jackrabbit are a chamber-pop band combining elements of folk, punk, indie and pop.
Key members Piper Murray (guitar/vocals), Robin Squirrell (cello/vocals) and Nick Williams (synth/vocals) create layered harmonies, intricate arrangements and powerful melodies alongside sharp, witty and observant lyrics.
Kate Peaches is the exciting new solo project from the former front-woman of Brighton favourites SLANT. Plunging headfirst into a neon-lit world of cinematic ’80s synths, her sound fuses shimmering Dream Wave with punchy New Wave.
