At our next Working Tea we’ll be discussing how best to build markets for social enterprises, how social enterprises can enhance corporate supply chains whilst increasing their positive environmental and social impact and how businesses can use their purchasing power as a force for good.
Businesses are increasingly looking to purchase from social enterprises who can provide high quality products and services whilst delivering social and environmental value to their communities. How can we support social enterprises to access these markets and what are the benefits to businesses of opening up their supply chain to social enterprises?
If you work in procurement, corporate social responsibility or are a social enterprise or social enterprise supporter help us explore these questions and how we can facilitate better connections between large corporates, small businesses and social enterprises.
Join us, our colleagues, businesses, public sector leaders and social entrepreneurs for an evening of discussion, good food and good company and help us decide on how we can support businesses to buy social.
We have free tickets for this event for Greater Manchester social enterprises and businesses - to find out more mail events@thebusinessgroup.org.
This event is part of Salford Social Enterprise City’s Buy Local Social Expansion project which is supported by players of People’s Postcode Lottery.
