The beloved Matchbox event format is back and this time, we’re turning up the romance. For the first time, we are increasing the number of matches. This time you get 3 Matches throughout the night!
On Thursday, April 30th, we are taking over Boqueria for a Thursday with 100+ singles ready to meet, mingle, and make some magic happen — this time with a little help from Matchbox.
No swiping. No awkward speed dates. Just real people, proper cocktails, and a room full of potential matches… hidden in plain sight.

🔥 The Matchbox Format
How it works:
- Upon arrival: scan the QR at the door and answer a 60-second questionnaire built by Matchbox’s Team of Relationship Scientists and curated by your Host.
- While you mingle, sip, and flirt, the Matchbox Algorithm quietly works behind the scenes — combining relationship science, AI, and Nobel Prize-winning economics — to find your most compatible matches.
- Throughout the night, you’ll receive a few playful clues via SMS or WhatsApp to help you narrow down who your match might be. To find your match, open your match reveal page and tap “Message Your Match”
- You will recieve 3 matches throughout the night! That’s when conversations turn into connections… and maybe something a little more.
- Your 2nd and 3rd matches could be anywhere in the room!
The flow:
→ 7:00pm— Event Begins
→ 8:00pm — Questionnaire closes and 1st Group Drops
→ 8:20pm — 1st Match Revealed
→ 8:35pm — 2nd Group Drops
→ 8:55pm — 2nd Match Revealed
→ 9:10pm — 3rd Group Drops
→ 9:30pm — 3rd Match Revealed
→ 9:45pm — Continue the convo or meet someone new
Eligibility: arrive by 19:30 to receive a match. Matches aren’t guaranteed; if numbers are uneven, you may receive a friend match. If this happens, we sincerely apologize and please come chat with your Host.
*If you need to leave the event early, please alert your host that you are leaving.
