No prizes for guessing that STAND UP IN THE BASEMENT is a stand up comedy night and guess what? It’s on a Tuesday night! Meaning you get to see top TV comics making you chuckle in the same room, and for a fraction of the normal price!

As well as familiar faces from TV, we feature some of the best circuit comics, plus new raw talent and occasionally a few big names who wanna come and try out some new material. It’s tailor-made for people who love live comedy! You’ll get to see a diverse range of comic talent in an intimate space.

⭐ JACK SKIPPER

Stand-up comedian, podcaster and Internet sensation Jack Skipper is embarking on his first UK Tour. His online comedy content has gained him over 8 million likes on TikTok. Whether telling stories of life as a family man or delivering observations on working-class life, his everyday guy persona is a win with audiences.

Joe Jacobs is a London based comedian, rapper and writer. His live shows effortlessly flit between hip hop and comedy and he’s been seen/heard on Channel 4, BBC Radio 4, BBC 6 Music, Radio 1XTRA, plus gained millions of viral video views online. On the live circuit, he’s a regular at The Comedy Store, Top Secret, Glee, The Bearcat, Up The Creek, Backyard Comedy Club, Covent Garden Comedy Club, Knock2Bag, Downstairs At The Kings Head, Banana Cabaret, The Distraction Club and many others. He has provided tour support for acts such as Jamali Maddix, Dane Baptiste and even opened for Bill Burr at The Comedy Store in Hollywood. In 2017, Joe took Ripe to the Edinburgh Fringe where it received critical acclaim. In 2019, he returned with Grimefulness. His TV work includes Harry Hill’s ClubNite on Channel 4, Nazi Pug: Joke or Hate on BBC3, plus his viral rap track I’m Dog was featured on E4’s Rudetube.

Starting his esteemed comedy career in his native Canada, Sean Collins achieved early stand up success with a Best Male Stand Up nomination at the Canadian Comedy Awards. After moving to the UK, Sean quickly established himself as a headliner and has made numerous TV appearances, including Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow (BBC One), The World Stands Up (Comedy Central) and The Comedy Store (Paramount Comedy).
