Red Players Academy of Contemporary Performance are proud to present our 2026 Showcase at the New Adelphi Theatre.

An abandoned mine lies in wait across the wilderness, as infestation spreads between the walls of The Hotel, and the pile of objects continues to grow in an old forgotten factory.

Keeping Things Whole: An Existential Triptych is a performance exploring meaning and the human experience through three philosophical perspectives: nihilism, absurdism, and humanism.

Presented as a triptych, each piece traces shifting responses to our individual and collective experience of being human, moving between the outright rejection of inherent meaning (nihilism), the comic tensions between meaning-making and an indifferent universe (absurdism), and the enduring human capacity to create and sustain meaning through connection and community (humanism).

Developed and performed by young artists, the performance platforms those who will inherit and shape future systems – the meaning makers and guardians of tomorrow – and considers how each of us, collectively, might contribute to keeping things whole in an increasingly fragile and fractured world.

Content Note:

This performance contains mature existential themes including grief and death, depictions of ritual and sacrifice involving young performers, and other emotionally sensitive material. The production also features haze and flashing lights, including strobe effects. The performance will be professionally recorded.
