Music Workshop in Dalston

Discover the technical aspects of music through exploring a variety of tunes and arrangements.

What to expect

A space to grow musically. Welcoming music enthusiasts of varying skill levels, this lovely get-together is a great way to learn through practice. You may sing and/ or play any acoustic instrument —whether you're just beginning to learn or already know a few tunes.

Work on things such as

• learning an instrument inside out,
• participating in an ensemble,
• getting to know your voice,
• building your repertoire,
• exploring harmony,
• and more.

We're particularly keen to work with folks who are able to:
• show up with good intentions,
• put in the work to create something beautiful for themselves and others, and
• carry that beauty forward and share it with the world.

Before the workshop

In preparation for the day, pick any song you’d like to work on. Each guest gets a little bit of time to work on their song, with everyone's help.

First-timer ***

As a first-timer via Fatsoma, you are welcome to attend the workshop free of charge. Should you wish to pay the participation fee and enjoy all the benefits of regular attendees, you may book your spot via www.footloose.london/?dalston

Getting to the studio on your own can be a little bit difficult. A short meet-up will be held for your convenience at the Crown & Castle, just outside Dalston Junction station. Check in with your host at the pub around 6:30PM and no later than 6:45PM.
