Velvela | Unplugged + The Brookes, Tom O'Neil

VELVELA are performing an unplugged set with friend The Brooke’s and Tom O’Neil (Stellar) in preparation for the Leeds leg of The Bottomless Rosé tour.

VELVELA are a lean mean rock machine with a barbaric fuzz rock vision powered by animalistic, howling vocals and menacing riffs.

Inspired by blues influenced classic rock greats and modern alternatives, VELVELA belong on playlists alongside The Zep, QOTSA, Black Keys and Royal Blood.

Formed in 2018 in the northern depths of Yorkshire, VELVELA holed themselves up in a disused factory to work on their sound. Brimming with energy and ambition, and with a palette of inspirations that ranges from jazz to house music, old school r’n’b and proto-punk, the band decided to paint with exhilarating colours. 

The end result is intimidating and feral, with the smell of vintage valves glowing red. Perfect for, but not restricted to, fans of Hello Operator, Rivals Sons and Band Of Skulls, VELVELA - Sean, Todd and Tom - regularly play in clubs across the North.
