LET'S GO ON A SINGLES SKI TRIP
We are beyond ecstatic to be taking Haystack Dating slope-side with the ultimate long ski weekend.
We’ve rented a massive chalet in in the heart of Portes Du Soleil area and have an itinerary ranging from a group dinners to apres.
Everyone’s single, but this is the furthest thing in the world from an intense dating experience, nor is it slope side love island…if you’re looking for an amazing weekend of making connections with great people, who also happen to be single, then we’d love to see you there…
So far most attendees are coming alone, so it's perfect for solo-travelers or people who just want to meet new people.
Beginners are completely welcome, we have a real mix of ability from first-time skiers/snowboarders to those who love a triple black diamond, to those who just wanna apres all day (so fair). We will help arrange ski schools if you want to go to one! Everyone is also free to ski in smaller groups & we will make sure to organise meeting spots for lunch and drinks etc so we can reconvene.

What does the trip include?
- 4 nights accommodation (a huge slope-side chalet, 3 minutes walk from the ski lift…)
- 3 days Portes du Soleil ski pass
- Welcome drinks, cheese and charcuterie on night one
- Family dinner on night two
- Pizza night on night four
- A free ticket to a Haystack event to meet some of the other people coming on the trip
- Team Haystack on the trip co-ordinating many fun things
Each spot on the trip is £700 (we ask for a £250 deposit first and the rest is due 20th Feb) we have limited spots available and once they’re gone they’re gone)…..more info over on instagram here…
Once you get a free ticket, the confirmation page will send the deposit link. Once this is paid your spot will be confirmed!

FAQS
What's the accommodation like?
It's. amassive private house that has it's own games room, ginormous kitchen, fully stocked on-site bar, boot room for skis and is a short 3 minute walk to the Les Crosets ski lift
We've private hired the whole thing, it sleeps 80 people and it's everything we could have dreamed of and more
Rooms are shared and fairly standard ski/mountain rooms e.g. clean, cosy, comfy beds and no frills. We'll be sending out forms to get to know everyone coming and group rooms accordingly.
There's also other lovely communal areas for the group to enjoy
We have our own private bar and long tables for group dining or an excessively large game of beer pong x
How many people?
The house holds 80 people, we went live Saturday at 9am and are on track to sell out which we're so so so excited about. But, once the house is ful... it's full!
[We're also lowkey relieved lol. We're a small business & this was a massive risk which we announced we were doing 48 hours before we put tickets live]
What's the age group?
We've had this questions loads so I took an average of the ticket data who's booked so far, which comes out at 33 with most ages ranging 20s to 40s.Â
That being said, everyone is welcome. If you're a kind, fun person, join us!
Gender split?
This ski trip is just a fun trip with interesting people who happen to be single, no pressure or weird vibes and definitely not an intense dating trip. At welcome drinks we'll make sure everyone gets to know eachother but we won't be doing any romantic matching. We want to ensure the house is fabulously welcoming for everyone as we are just one group in one house. Therefore, we won't be monitoring gender ratio, so if your main intention is to date then this probably isn't the right trip! However... we would 100% recommend our dating events.
If any sparks fly, we see it as an extra bonus!
Do I need to be London based?
Not at all, we have guests joining us from London, Netherlands, Bristol, Vienna and beyond!
Can I bring a friend?
For sure! If you want to be in a room together we'll make it happen too. If they're not single and joining as a wingman/wingwoman, we just ask we all communicate it like adults
What if I find a partner before the trip?
We know things change, however much like any other companies in our space we can't facilitate a refund. You can either give your spot to a friend or joing us anyway, again just communicate with the group.
How will it work with different ski abilities?
If you're brand new to skiing we will send you a link to the local ski school (2 of our reps will also be attending so you'll be in great company!)
For the rest of the group we will work it out as we go and always make sure everyone has a group they are comfortable in.
What if I can only join on the Friday?
No problem, we will refund you for one days ski pass and see you at the apres. Need to work Friday morning? We have the house and will let you know where up the mountain to meet us!
Flights, skis, transfers?
The best airport to come into is Geneva and as our audience is global we anticipate we will bet getting people coming in from a range of places. On the whatsapp group we can help facilitate matching people coming in at similar times with good transfer options or even help find you guys a coach. Flights & transfers are not included in the trip cost but we will do what we can to help everyone co-ordinate.
If you have your own ski equipment please bring them, we have a boot room at the accommodation. If not, there's a great local rental shop. Once we know number of people needing equipment we'll negotiate the best rates for you guys that we can.
What's the payment situation?
250 deposit which is live through the link above, and the remaining balance is due 20th February.
Is it ok to come solo?
94% of people who come to our events come alone, and this trip is designed for exactly that. All our coupled up friends are skiing with couples, so we built this for likeminded people!
