MICRODOG 2024 · HEAT F (Metal/Alt-Rock/Punk)

Back for its seventh run, the 2024 MicroDog series will see thirty-six bands compete for six coveted spots at the Thekla final. Its winner takes all, with the top band from each heat progressing to the final, and the overall winner taking home an artist development package featuring two days in a recording studio time, a single-release show, a mini tour of the Southwest, and some 'no-strings-attached' cash!

First launched in 2015, The Underdog quickly established itself on the Bristol scene as an alternative to the larger national competitions. Hundreds of local bands have competed across the seven larger event series (and countless smaller events) at venues like o2 Academy, Thekla, The Fleece, Exchange, The Thunderbolt, and Zed Alley.
