Rising star Mark Simmons is a consummate one-liner comic. If you love Milton Jones you are likely to adore Mark Simmons. He’s a big hit on the UK circuit and supports some of the bigger names on tour, including Seann Walsh who he co-hosts a movie podcast with. Very clever writing combined with a quirky stage persona.

Following last year's Amused Moose: Best Show nomination for One-Linerer, Mark Simmons presents the hotly anticipated One-Linererer. This is a show for people who like jokes. Lots of jokes. ★ RO CAMPBELL [EXTENDED SHOW]

Joining him is first timer to the Basement, UK-based, award-winning Aussie comic Ro Campbell… once controversially crowned "Scottish Comedian of the Year" ;) Ro’s relentlessy entertaining brand of cheeky slightly dark humour has wowed audiences in well over 40 countries, and he has performed at the last 10 Edinburgh Fringe Festivals. He’s one of those comics who makes people laugh, more than just out loud, and has even been described in the press as “one of the funniest men on earth”, “top notch” and “effortlessly brilliant”.
