Rock Up and Sing! are a community choir and registered charity based in Harrogate and Skipton. Formed in 2009 by Musical Director Rhiannon Gayle, Rock Up has grown to over 400 members from all walks of life and includes a talented Youth Choir of students aged between 12 and 18.
Formed in 2013 specifically to perform at the prestigious Tour de France Gala Dinner, the Youth Choir are a tight-knit supportive group who love to sing rock, pop and a cappella pieces. They have since sung at many Rock Up events, community concerts, charity fund-raising performances and even recorded together at Abbey Road studios in London. They were also privileged to recently sing with Jonathan Antoine on his first UK tour (the young classical tenor singer who first appeared on Britain’s Got Talent and who now has a very successful solo career).
The Youth Choir are delighted to be supporting the charity Just ‘B’ Bereavement Service in Harrogate. Just ‘B’ offers practical support to children, young people and adults who have been bereaved, as well as information and advice for the professionals working with them.
