This is an invitation to express through movement; a space with the freedom to let

loose, where the body and the music lead the way.

Dancers respond to the music, musicians to the dancers; a co - creation happening in the

present moment where we share the journey but with the freedom to be ourselves.

As Medicine events celebrate the transformational power of music to heal, bringing us all together as one beating heart and bring us back to our authentic selves. 

"Music and rhythm find their way into the secret places of the soul.”

Our intention for this night is to create a container; a held space for connection and community through music and dance.

Musicians

The Order of Love are a multi-instrumental three-piece who make live, improvised music for the dance floor.

Musicians Damien Mahoney and Nicholas Malin, with special guest Tariq Emam, play a spontaneous set of soundscapes on a global selection of instruments & percussion.

Their work focuses on intuitive, impromptu sound journeying, rhythm, movement medicine, trance & tribal dance, mantra and medicine songs with an emphasis on heart-wisdom, healing and connection. Expect elements of Afro, funk, dub and psychedelic flavours in the mix plus much more!
