Matchbox is bringing matchmaking to Roam in Ballard for a singles night for people in their 30s and 40s. If you’re tired of swiping and chats that go nowhere, this is your sign to meet people in real life. Expect a great crowd, bar games, DJs, and a venue that always delivers.

Early in the night, you’ll do a quick questionnaire on your phone. Matchbox does the matchmaking quietly in the background, then later helps reveal a potential match in the room. No awkward pairings. No forced moments.

Come solo or with a friend. Show up open-minded and ready to meet people who are actually here for the same reason.

This event runs on a set schedule. Please arrive on time.

7:00 PM: Doors open and check in begins

8:00 PM: Doors close and matching begins

Later in the evening: Clues are released

Match reveal: Matches are shared

What if matches are uneven
We aim for balanced attendance, but if pairings are uneven, some matches may be platonic. Anyone without a romantic match will receive a free ticket to a future Matchbox event valid for 60 days.
