Jakil

Jakil are an Edinburgh born five-piece band who relocated to London together in 2010 to write and produce their music under the same roof. Jakil released debut single ‘Look Like Gold’ which received numerous plaudits from the likes of tastemaker BBC Radio 1 as well asXFM Scotland's Jim Gellatly who hailed the single “...a total gem!  

Follow-up single 'Istanbul' produced by Cam Blackwood (George Ezra, Darlia) was released via Sticky Lips Music (Josef Salvat) after debuting on Indie Shuffle
and now has over 50,000+ hits online. 

In between their sessions with producer Charles “Chicky” Reeves  (Radiohead, Ray Charles, OMD) and the
occasional house party, the band continues to write and craft their own distinct brand of gritty dance pop.
