Billy is a well-traveled punk rocker that has been making friends all over the world with his words and his guitar. He’s like… a Crusty Johnny Cash (wears all black) but without the God. His 11-song album was produced by the homie Joe McMahon (of Smoke or Fire), and they conscripted some European ringers to fill out the backing band for this fully plugged-in rock record. I'm very happy to be hosting Billy Liar's debut album release party. It's been a long time coming. I've been lucky enough to sporadically host Billy for 10 years or so and I'm very excited that this article finally exists.
