I'm Megan, a full-time Psychic Medium, Sound Healer & Reiki Master with 13+ years of experience.

I am overjoyed to share this specialised Mediumship sound bath again with you all at The Cloisters in Bolton but this time with a Mexican theme (inspired by my recent trip to Mexico) to celebrate our loved ones in spirit for Samhain/Halloween, also known as 'The Day of the Dead' (In spanish - Día de los Muertos' which is celebrated from 27th October to 2nd November and each day leading up to Halloween or as I call it, ('Samhain' the Celtic Pagan saying) we honour a different relative including our pets, children/babies in spirit, grandparents, parents, siblings and friends. Each day from 27th October we honour a different relative until we approach 2nd November where families gather in Mexican cemeteries to light candles, feast and sing along to celebrate their loved ones. The headstones are usually decorated with Marigold flowers and petals, candles and colourful ribbons. It's a time to celebrate and a time light up the cemeteries in golden light - which in my sound bath we will honour this tradition and replicate with our own candlelit photograph altar and marigold flowers.

ABOUT THE VENUE:

Cloisters is a cosy angelic converted church with a huge open space allowing my bowls to echo and resonate through the air and giving you space to set up and get comfy. Cloisters is also fully carpeted with hot and cold drinks available to buy. 

Parking at The Cloisters has an outdoor and underground carpark with plenty of spaces. There are two car parks on ground level on the other side of the black railings. 

Upon arrival at Reception please enter your car registration plate. 

SOUND BATH:

In this sound bath I have created a unique theme inspired by my trip to Mexico when I payed a visit to a Mexican cemetery and I noticed all the headstones were colourful and lit up with candles and surrounded by ribbons and wind chimes. I honestly couldn't believe how pretty it was and how clean & tidy all the graves were. In Mexico, I really felt they took extra care in cemeteries as it is a sacred resting place for the souls who have transitioned into spirit. It felt very much respected and blew my mind and gave me idea! 

My sound bath is aimed as helping anyone who feels they are going through grief and loss and anyone who wants to have time out from a busy and stressful life. Grief comes in many forms, from loved ones passing away, relationships ending, friendships breaking down, losing a job, or even losing your sense of direction in life or feeling you have lost yourself. This sound bath is aimed at helping you on your journey to redirect you, help you spring back forward and bringing people together to connect to like-minded souls who can relate to you so you don'f feel so alone.

I myself have been through grief with the sudden loss of my Dad and my own personal journey gave me ideas and this is one of them, this is why I created and chose to do a specialised sound bath to help others with their bereavement and their journey of self discovery because it is 100% achievable with patience and the right help out there. 

MEDIUMSHIP:

I will be connecting to the spirit world to channel guidance and personal messages, also including pets from spirit, giving you a mediumship reading which is a beautiful way to help with grief and find peace. I absolutely love channeling spirit and bringing forward messages for people as it really can help change a persons mindset and life. We will also create a small ancestral Mexican altar in the middle of the church in front of my bowls surrounded by Marigold flowers which is believed in Mexico to attract the soul from spirit and help lead them to the flower by colour and scent, so please bring photographs of loved ones and pets/children in spirit, whether they are in a frame or not is absolutely fine, please bring your crystals or any sentimental items from loves ones in spirit including animals if you wish.

I will also be guiding you through a relaxing visualisation meditation during the sound bath, following with a quartz crystal healing sound bath using many of my beautiful sound healing instruments.

OUTDOOR FIRE CEREMONY:

Fire is very transformational and the perfect element to help when clearing old negative energy and transform it into positive. In my fire ceremony we will put all our messages to spirit and intentions into the fire for everyones messages to be sent directly up into the universe and to the spirit world. During this fire circle we will invite your loved ones in for them to read your messages and just take a moment and be in the present. And then do a closing circle. Please note, if the weather is raining, the fire ceremony wont be able to go ahead as planned - in replacement I have a white spirit box for messages to spirit that I keep in my readings room at home to use until the next full moon where I do a private fire ceremony in my garden and film it for those who attended to see.

WHAT TO EXPECT

I invite you to immerse yourself in the vibrations of my healing sound bowls under the Aquarius new moon. I will play my 5 white Quartz Crystal Singing Bowls made specifically to connect you to your Endocrine System for deeper chakra alignment, healing and releasing emotional imbalances. My 5 bowls are the sharps and flats on a piano, and in musical terms this means they are the 5 black keys on the piano. Being a musician and pianist since I was 7 years old, it's a beautiful experience for me to play an instrument spiritually rather than classically. The 5 black keys are the sharps and flats, and if you didn't know already, we have chakras in between our 7 main chakras. When these 5 black notes are played they connect with your 5 higher chakras. These chakras need healing and alignment just as much as our 7 main chakras, therefore my 5 crystal bowls will help with just that.

✧ Pillows/cushion to rest your head during the meditation and sound bath

✧ Notebook & pen for the fire ceremony (I bring my own pens too for you all just in case)

Seating area is also available for those who don't wish to lie down on a yoga mat.

PLEASE NOTE:

Sound baths are not suitable for those who wear a pacemaker or are pregnant.
