THIS IS SUBCULTURE 25.

On Saturday the 4th of May we celebrate 25 years of Subculture in the only appropriate fashion : Electronic Funk For Freaks with Harri & Domenic from open to close.

To celebrate 25 of years of Subculture, we have teamed up with longtime Subculture graphics guru Damien Smith of ISO to curate a special edition series of flyers, each photographed by longtime Subbie collaborator Brian Sweeney, which represent our home in a visual form. This is the space where the spirit of Subculture truly lives, and where countless memories have been made by those that have entered our basement and lost themselves on the dance floor.

Over the coming week, we will be distributing 5 different sets of limited edition flyers in selected locations. We will also be releasing 250 posters which you can find around the city. On each of these pieces of artwork, you will you see a QR code, which when scanned on a smartphone will take you to a mix made especially for Subculture25 by resident DJ Domenic Cappello.

This mix embodies the sound of Subculture, as presented by Domenic, and like the night itself casts a glance back to the past whilst cutting a confident path into the future. Part 2 will only be available in the club on the night, mixed by Harri.
