About the venue: A bar and craft kitchen rated 4.6 from more than 940 reviews, open 4pm to 10pm Monday to Wednesday and later from Thursday. It doubles as an art gallery and live music venue, and one reviewer makes a point directly relevant to your format: the background music is soft enough to hold a conversation without shouting. It is also listed as an event venue.

Getting there: Unusually well connected for Florida: the Fort Lauderdale station serving Brightline and Tri-Rail is a five-minute walk, putting Miami and West Palm Beach within easy reach by train and making this a genuinely regional venue.
