After the success of our first two Cavern shows of the university year, we’re back again with something very special. Our House are combining with Flux to put on a special showcase of both Flux and Our House talent.

FLUX

From humble origins, throwing a one-off party for charity in their home city of Leeds, Flux has grown in the four and a half years since its inception to become one of the UK’s leading providers of underground house, techno and disco. In the past year, Flux has also expanded beyond its Leeds base to throw parties in the capital and feature at festivals and parties across the rest of Europe. Flux’s continued success was formally recognised by DJ Mag when they were nominated for the UK’s Best Club Night.

With new sound and lighting from our good friends at Hawx Audio, you will not want to miss this special night.

Line-Up:

VOYEUR (Madhouse / Flux)

Voyeur are a Leeds via London based duo. Having completed remixes for bands such as Foals and Bombay Bicycle Club, Voyeur are most certainly on the rise, with Rob da Bank naming their Bombay Bicycle Club remix his ‘remix of the year’. With Pete Tong, Zane Lowe and Annie Mac singing their praises, the duo’s brand of deep, smokey, tech-house, was snapped up by deep house pioneer Kerri Chandler, releasing their debut EP on his Madtech Records imprint.

AARTEKT (Bad Animal / Flux)

Aartekt is made up of Liam Wachs and John Williamson. Whilst John owns and runs FLux, Liam has been producing for 6 years under various aliases. Their debut 12″ Aartekt EP was released on Alland Byallo’s Berlin imprint, Bad Animal, touching the top spot in many vinyl charts and receiving heavy support from Tom Trago and Clockwork. With a host of new material in the pipeline and an ever growing calendar of bookings, the Aartekt boys couldn’t be more excited.
