Oval Space with Sadar Bahar, Antal, Bradley Zero + Zakia

Chicago’s finest funk & soul selector and Oval Space resident Sadar Bahar returns on 7th July, curating a selection of soulful music’s most vital artists for a Midsummer shakedown.

Sadar will be joined by a long-awaited Oval Space debut from Antal, the man behind the legendary label, distributor and record store Rush Hour Records. Antal has been a pillar of Dutch electronic music over the past 3 decades, and is revered worldwide for his freewheeling DJ sets, packed with unearthed gems and classics alike. Zouk, disco, techno, acid, soul, boogie—Antal has it all in his locker and more.

Two of the UK’s foremost funky selectors also join us on the 7th. Peckham’s finest, Rhythm Section bossman and newly anointed Radio 1 host Bradley Zero trips North of the river for a welcome return to Cambridge Heath; along with fellow special DJ, Zakia. An Honest Jon’s alumni and host of NTS Radio show Questing, Zakia delivers cosmic selections of jazz, soul and psychedelia.
