💘Back to School Bash - Singles Who Serve💘

Join us in giving back and making real connections at the Back to School Bash with Westminster Neighborhood Services! 🎒✨

We’re teaming up with WNS to create a volunteer experience that doubles as a singles social—because meeting new people feels even better when it’s for a great cause. Spend the day connecting, supporting local families, and helping kids head into the school year with confidence.

Your ticket doesn’t just get you into the event—it directly supports the mission of WNS, making a meaningful impact in the community. Come solo, leave inspired (and maybe with a new connection 😉).

This annual event provides students in need with essential school supplies, backpacks, and other resources to ensure they start the school year prepared and confident.

As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to:

✅ Help distribute backpacks full of school supplies

✅ Engage with the community and create a welcoming environment

✅ Assist with refreshment set up and distribution

✅ Clean up and ensure everything runs smoothly

This is a fantastic opportunity to give back, support local students, and make a meaningful impact in their education journey. No special skills are required—just a willingness to help and a friendly attitude!

Feel free to consider bringing donation items such as outdoor activity items for the youth. Items could include but are not limited to sunglasses, bubbles and sidewalk chalk.

Arrival & Check-In 

📍 Parking: Please park in the lot at the corner of New York St. and Keystone Ave.

🚪 Volunteer Entrance: Located on Keystone Ave. Please ring the doorbell upon arrival.

📋 Check-In & Training: First-time volunteers will receive a brief training and tour before getting started.

Dress Code & Personal Items

👟 Wear closed-toed shoes – you’ll be on your feet, so comfortable shoes are recommended.

👕 Appropriate clothing – no tank tops, revealing clothing, or attire with offensive language.

🔐 Valuables: Please leave valuables at home or secure them in your vehicle. Westminster is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
