Sarah McQuaid’s lush, chocolatey voice combines with her engaging personality, “subtle mastery onstage” (Huffington Post) and “brilliant musicianship” (fRoots) on acoustic and electric guitars, piano and (occasionally) drum to create a truly immersive experience.

Born in Spain, raised in Chicago, holding dual Irish and American citizenship and now settled in rural England, she brings the eclecticism of her background to her “captivating, unorthodox songwriting” (PopMatters) and choice of material, spanning genres and defying categorisation.

Her most recent live album and video series, 'The St Buryan Sessions', documents her lockdown project in delightful fashion, but really needs to be savoured in person to be fully appreciated.

Sarah is currently on an extensive East Coast USA tour followed by winter UK dates. We're lucky to have nailed this one before she heads off into Europe (and there's limited Earlybird Tkts available, so don't miss out).

Opening tonight is another local Greys and terrace cred. favourite, Sylvie Lewis. You may well have seen her solo, as part of The (non-sibling) Lewis SistersSor performing alongside her father, broadcaster Sir Martin Lewis. Sylvie is putting the finishing touches to a new album (her good friend Michele Stodart features on it) that should catapult her into a deserved high orbit up above the Sussex vineyards where she tends to hang out.
