This half day Masterclass is an introduction for staff to explore how they can use different sources of data to evidence the work they do.
It is suitable for those with a basic level of understanding of collecting, measuring and using data who are responsible for managing, developing or using internal monitoring systems, including project managers and information officers. It is also suitable for those with a more general remit around service improvement or influencing commissioners.
Aims of the Masterclass
This Masterclass will provide homelessness staff with an overview of methods that can show the impact of their work and will include: + ● an improved understanding of different types of data and evidence and how they can be used + ● practical ways to improve data and evidence collection in their service + ● different tools to help present their data to influence different audiences + ● opportunity to discuss challenges with demonstrating impact and ways to overcome these
We are asking every attendee to bring with them one example of current data or evidence that they are collecting about their service, so that they can put their learning into practice during the Masterclass and identify areas for improvement.
The course will take place at Homeless Link + Monday 20th May 2015 + 10:00am - 1:00pm
