Hurricane #1

90’s rockers Hurricane #1 are lining up for a 2015 return with a massive live show at Jamm.

Formed in ’97, Hurricane #1 was ex-Ride guitarist Andy Bell, Alex Lowe on guitars and vocals, Bass player Will Pepper of Thee Hypnotics fame, and the young 17-year-old Gareth Farmer on Drums.

The band had seven top 40 UK hits and two top 20 albums in the UK, Japan, and throughout Europe. No mean feat.

Now, reformed, with a new line up consisting of the legendary Teenage Fanclub’s Paul Quinn, Italian/Brazilian brothers Giancarlo and Lucas Mariani on guitar and bass respectively, and Alex Lowe still rocking the guitar and mic, Hurricane have targeted 2015 for a year on the road and possibly (hopefully) some new material.

With Swervedriver, MBV, and Ride having all recently reformed it’s only right that Hurricane #1 return to pick up where they left off. There's more acts to be added to the line up soon!
