Pride Show

Eastwood Events presents their first 'Pride Show', celebrating and promote diversity, equity and all love through Music.

The show will be taking place at The Prince Albert on Tuesday 18th June !

Entertaining you for the evening are amazing Brighton based Acts; Luan Luan, Ahno, Evangeline Eastwood and Intimate Friends.

Acts bios:

Evangeline Eastwood: Soul/Rock singer and songwriter. A Powerhouse reminiscent of Janis Joplin, Joss Stone and Etta James. Her vocals reflect a combination of soulful melismas and rocky screams. Accompanied by her backing musicians, Evangeline's music explores the duality of love and heartbreak, as well as challenges misogyny and sexism through her lyrics.

Luan Luan: Luan Luan is an independent singer-songwriter and Multi-instrumentalist from Madrid, based in Brighton. Combining different genres like Funk, Indie, Soul and Pop as their natural way of creating music. Luan luan has the power to bring the audience inside their vibrant and rhythmic style of playing: their finger style guitar work adds a very rhythmic edge to their writing, which beautifully underpins their catchy melodies. Their distinctive voice and energy when playing challenge anybody to remain indifferent.

Intimate Friends: Indulge in Intimate Friends' beautiful band chemistry though their magical stage presence, sensual melodies and dreamy guitar licks. If you love saying "I knew them before they were famous", this is the band for you. A Soulful 4-piece based in London, Intimate Friends are described as having "their own brand of romantic Neo-soul". Inspired by 70's greats such as Al Green and Curtis Mayfield through to contemporaries including Lianne La Havas and Corrine Bailey Rae, their sound features smooth vocals and rich harmonies driven by hip-hop, Jazz and funk infused beats.

Ahno: From the year 4242, Ahno is bringing boogie back with funky vibes from the dystopian future of tomorrow. A Brighton based, dance-rock band featuring robotic vocals, improved solos and sci-fi aesthetics, taking influence from artists like Daft Punk and TWRP, Ahno will bring you into her crazy futuristic stories of glittery aliens and endless cityscapes with the grooviest tunes.
