International Womens Day - BRIE & guests

Consort Live is excited to announce that they will be hosting BRIE for an International Women's Day Celebration and it’s not one to miss. This event is a night is featuring some of the best up and coming fresh independent artists that Leeds has to offer. With two vibrant and alternative female fronted bands and an incredible talented solo artist, each one has their own take on alternative pop.

BRIE is the Indie Pop-Rock progression of singer-songwriter, Gabrielle O’Brien, taking influence from the likes of Jade Bird, Hozier and Florence and the Machine, she seeks to develop upon her previous single releases, “Alone” and “Too Much”. Her lyricism is a modern portrayal of dark, intimate and vulnerable emotion, powerfully delivered with her band to create eloquent, heartfelt and relate-able music that is unmistakably BRIE.

Fresh faced and ready to make a real dent in the market, Luca Blue are a 5 piece, whose music naturally blends dreamy, atmospheric synths with catchy vocals and driving guitar lines. Taking influence from bands such as Everything Everything and HALFNOISE, their music is sure to stay with you.Their new single Narrow released November 15th 2019 has had many positive views including being commented as “Unreal”.

Born and raised in London, 20 year old mercurial singer/songwriter Ewan Mainwood came to Leeds to cut his teeth in a new environment. He is working tirelessly developing his sound with his influences being Lewis Capaldi, Ed Sheeran and Plested. He is one not to be missed.
