Butchery Masterclass

Do you have a passion for meat? Would you like to learn how to prepare your meat to restaurant standard or to make the most of the joint you have purchased? Come along and join our experienced butcher for an involved masterclass where you will learn new techniques and how to prepare your meat like a pro.

We will provide all the meat and equipment (i.e. aprons, chain mail gloves and knives) you need for your class as well as providing handy cooking tips throughout. Following a short safety talk you will each learn how to break down a whole free range chicken so that you make the most of all the meat available, leaving you with as little waste as possible. Then you will go on to bone and roll a loin of lamb ready for roasting and also learn how to tie a butcher's knot. Finally you will finesse the art of french trimming a rack of pork, guaranteed to make an impression at any dinner party!

This is a hands on class where questions are welcomed and to top it off you get to take home the meat you have lovingly prepared.

This class will be run by Luke, our personal butcher with over 20 years of experience in the trade.
