PREMIUM OBNOXIOUS WELSH METAL from Cardiff. Influenced by Pantera, Meshuggah, Crowbar, Naked City, Ornette Coleman and films - their take on modern progressive metal comprises hulking rhythmic passages, megalithic guitars, psychotic drumming, squealing saxophones and the throat of an ancient to deliver an original and devastating smack to the teeth of their listeners - assuming their listeners have mouths in their ears (which they do). Having played Bloodstock Open Air Festival 2011 - as well as support slots for Shining (Norway), Soilent Green, Black Breath, Cancerous Womb and Xerath

Lacertilia are a tripped out rock n roll machine from South Wales that brings together the manic stomp and wild stage performance of The Stooges, the fuzzy desert sounds of Kyuss, the weird psychedelic frequencies of The 13th Floor Elevators and the proto doom of Pentagram . . .

Our obvious influences shine through in our music but we aint stuck in the past . . . featuring members of such diverse bands as The Witches Drum, Thorun and Akb'al, Lacertilia are a strange alchemy of styles that blend to create something unique and refreshing.

Formed in 2011, Satori have a long history of playing in bands both together and seperately through the years. They have a studio EP which they recorded last year at Junkyard Studio with Jeff Rose.

The band plays rock with a twist of old school, stadium, punk etc and has supported acts such as Boomtown Rats, Guns2Roses and many more!
