We welcome our family back to the Exeter Cavern for our final Exeter event of the season. With grad week being the last time many of us will be in Exeter, we can expect the squad to come out en masse to say goodbye.
The Grad Week Special will feature some of the finest talent that are broadening their horizons beyond the West Country come graduation, and these DJs will be sorely missed by all.
♠ ALL GRADUATE LINE UP ♠
♠ JOSH TOOGOOD ♠ No, seriously, that’s his name, and he lives up to it. Over Josh’s time in Exeter he has continued to build on what was an already impressive DJ resume before he got here. Having played all over the place from Ministry of Sound to Ibiza, if you haven’t seen Josh do his thang then this is your best opportunity. He’s supported the likes of Pete Tong, Maya Jane Coles and Eats Everything to name but a few. Expect fresh house basslines combined with his ice cold touch of the mixer.
♠ DOI MAN A.K.A DOODLES A.K.A THAT GUY WITH TATTOOS AND STUFF ♠ A man needing no introduction, Doodles is notorious for his ‘plays what he wants’ attitude behind the decks. Whatever fire he brings, he always manages to have all the birds going in pon di floor. Bringing his own Northern Soul character to the deep South, he stands out from the crowd and has subsequently risen to almost B.D.J.O.C status. PLEASE KEEP HIM AWAY FROM THE BAR!!
♠ LASSA ♠ If you were lucky enough to see him headline the Jungle stage at Hijacked Festival not too long ago, you’ll know why we’ve recruited one of the Beats and Bass mainstays of recent years. Lasse knows his way around his high tempo bag of tricks. Expect DnB, Jungle and everything 170bpm and up.
♠ ODD & TOOTHPICK ♠ Toothpick you say? I thought it was Topick? Whatever, Theo ain’t that bothered. These two HiFid founders and residents will be taking you on the highway to the dangerzone. Expect Original productions, their own grime remixes, and plenty of Lorenzo basslines. As Zac Efron once said, ‘128 BPM, that’s the magic number’...We’re pretty sure he wasn’t talking about Theon’s Wiley Remix though... After smashing it out at Drifter’s festival and Salamanca Castle, Escott will be back (going back to back) with his boy.
