Haxan Live & The Witchcraft and Vagrancy Act

The Witchcraft and Vagrancy Act presents: Haxan – a live folk horror soundtrack.

TWAVA’s Richard Craig performs a live soundtrack to the 1922 silent horror documentary Haxan. Craig has constructed an abbreviated, one hour edit of Haxan to be shown with as part of an immersive cinema experience. This will be followed by the debut performance of The Witchcraft and Vagrancy Act.

The Witchcraft and Vagrancy Act combine experimental arrangements with traditional songs and tunes to unearth the uncanniness in folk music. Expect tales of witchcraft, murder and the supernatural, as TWAVA create their uniquely spooky interpretation of the folk canon.
