Leeds Bachata Workshop

Come and join us for our monthly bachata workshop with Ehab. The goal of this workshop is to learn and practice some of the foundational techniques of sensual bachata.

We will work with head rolls and body rolls. We will cover upper body movement and how that translates to popular moves like head rolls and body rolls -- even dips!

WORKSHOP FOCUS

★ Upper body movement:

We will cover body roll and head roll movements. We will also cover head cadence and how it moves in relation to the upper body. We will practice these movements a lot.

★ Applications:

We will apply what we've practiced into a small routine. The goal here is see how these techniques can be used in conjunction with other movements.

INSTRUCTOR

Ehab is an official certified instructor of Bachata Sensual, as credited by the creators of the style Korke and Judith. He has been dancing since 2015 when he discovered salsa. Shortly after, he transitioned to Bachata, his newfound passion. He learned extensively for a few years all over the UK and abroad under international teachers. He then co-founded Bachata Sabor and started teaching in York for a few years. He has taught in various cities outside of York. He also DJs in popular SBK nights across Leeds, Manchester, Leeds, Nottingham and Sheffield. He's also the co-founder of new bachata parties in Leeds!
