We are pleased to present Spike Lee’s rarely seen classic satire Bamboozled in which African American TV executive Pierre Delacroix (played by Damon Wayans)
creates a grotesque racist minstrel show to force his bosses to
understand the stereotypes that they force him to create. But his satire
backfires and becomes a big hit leading to Delacroix’s own mental
collapse.
We are thankful to our Bristol partners Colston Hall, Watershed, Arnolfini, The Station Bristol and Ujima Radio 98fm.
