This event is open to anyone who resonate with the principles and philosophy behind Mindfulness and Wellbeing, to anyone who feel they want to live a life along these principles, as well as to anyone who is curious to find out more about these concepts.
The main aim of the event is to bring together like minded individuals, so that we can share experiences, knowledge, as well as connect with each other.
Below is a definition of mindfulness
1) the quality or state of being conscious or aware of something.
2) a mental state achieved by focusing one's awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one's feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations, used as a therapeutic technique.
And one of wellbeing
1) the state of being comfortable, healthy, or happy
The format of the event is free format, we start at 7pm and we mix and mingle. There will be a group of volunteers who will facilitate breaking the ice, making sure everyone feels comfortable and ensure that we can all have this experience in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
The venue chosen is large, offers plenty of sofas and chairs for those who wish to sit down and has got a terrace which may be open if the weather is clement and supportive of our gathering.
