Jive Party at The Rivoli Ballroom with Peachy Beat

Fancy putting on your glad rags and dancing in the fabulous retro Rivoli Ballroom – with a live band, DJs and a beginners’ jive lesson to kick the evening off? Our ever-popular monthly Jive Parties have a lively buzz, and the best jive, swing and original R&B music around.

Peachy Beat will be providing the live music on May 18th 2019 at The Rivoli. Peachy Beat came about through a shared love of Rock 'n' Roll - the band lives and breathes the music of the 1950s and 60s, between them having performed in many No. 1 National shows including Dreamboats & Petticoats, Cilla The Musical and Roll Over Beethoven.  Their repertoire features the biggest hits of an era that knew how to party, from the classic Rock ’n'Roll of Elvis and Little Richard to the unforgettable sound of The Everly Brothers, Motown’s finest and much more. Their female lead vocalist doubles on tenor sax and with their signature three part harmonies, Peachy Beat recreate that timeless jiving groove that is guaranteed to keep you on the dance floor.

So come along to the iconic chandeliered, totally unique Rivoli Ballroom, soak up the atmosphere, enjoy the music, and dance the night away.

As usual the night kicks off with a jive class aimed at beginners (8:30pm-9pm) followed by two sets from the band and DJs filling in.
