The Commercialisation and Future of Science and Innovation are fundamental to the economic growth of the UK and its economy.
Following previous successful years in Manchester (2016, 2017 & 2024), Liverpool (2018 & 2025), Leeds (2019 & 2023), Birmingham (2021) and Edinburgh (2022) the Business of Science Conference is delighted to be moving to Nottingham in 2026.
Nottingham continues to develop, change and prosper with an innovative and sophisticated culture of science and innovation supported by both the private and public sectors. The University of Nottingham has often provided a focal point for this collaboration and it is wholly fitting that BoSC26 will be held at the Jubilee Conference Centre on the Jubilee Campus, which is the center of an innovative environment dedicated both to the commercialization of science and the people involved.
Held on Thursday 14th May 2026 with the pre-conference dinner on the evening of Wednesday 13th May 2026 also at the Jubilee Campus. The Conference will encourage debate and collaboration around Commercialization, AI, Materials Innovation, Skills and Talent and specific scientific advances along with their impact on the future.
Do come and join the 200+ businesspeople, academics, students, and entrepreneurs at this unique Conference.
