Bachata Alchemy Day Event: Hear it. Feel it. Dance it.

Join Jack and Marwa in this day of dancing alchemy where we'll turn your Bachata into pure gold.

Bachata Alchemy is a deep-dive bachata experience designed for dancers who want more than steps — more control, more understanding, more feeling on the dancefloor.

Session 1: 3-hour Bachata Technique Bootcamp

10am - 1pm

In the first session, Marwa will deep dive into technique and body control for both leaders and followers. The session will break down:

- hip and torso movements within moves

- drilling body isolations

- posture and positioning

- footwork and syncopations

- defining styling for leaders and followers

The aim is to produce clean, intentional movements within oneself which look and feel good that then gets taken into social dancing, creating a more enjoyable, and easier experience on the dancefloor.

Session 2: 2-hour Musicality Workshop

2pm - 4pm

In this session, Jack will unlock musicality: how to actually hear bachata, respond to accents, phrasing, breaks, and emotion — and let the music lead your choices instead of memorised patterns. The session will explore:

-Musical Structure

-Recognising different instruments

-Translating different rhythms, melodies and accents into movement

Session 3: 100% Bachata Social

8pm - late: 30 minutes solowork class to warm you up and get inspired for the social

Starting with a 30-minute introductory class open to everyone, Jack and Marwa invite you to a 100% Bachata experience at Copacabana — Featuring the very best in bachata music, spanning multiple styles and giving you a space to level up your dancing.
