LONNIE GUNN

New Jersey born, Brighton-based Lonnie Gunn is the pioneer of what she calls Lesbian Fembot Bubblegrunge. She is a weird girl making gross indie rock drawing inspiration from all the music your dad likes and churning up in a way your dad no longer approves of. Lonnie collects perfume and rubber-face dolls. Ladies love her, doctors want to know her secret.

THAT BAND CALLED SUSAN 

That Band Called Susan is an unapologetic sonic assault with a knack for unleashing chaos and turning it into art. Slamming into peoples eardrums, the Hertfordshire based noise punk duo combines aggressive, insulting bass (James Bowman) with borderline abusive drums (Angus J Shand) to create their boundary pushing sound with blistering raw energy.

M.WOODROE

M. Woodroe is a moody alternative band who has quickly shot out of the local DIY scene in Brighton to gain a reputation as one of the city's exciting emerging acts. Led by intricate political and provocative lyrics and followed by a bed of grungy, angular guitar noise, the 4-piece have been compared to PJ Harvey, Porridge Radio, and Sonic Youth. M. Woodroe's image, lyrics and sound are boundary-pushing contemplations of gender, sexuality and desire that are difficult to pin down to genre archetypes. Their politically angsty debut single, ‘Carte Blanche’, is out now.
