FaT OuT teams up with 6 Music Festival to present an afternoon of melodic, experimental folk in the stunning Ballroom at Eccles Town Hall. Bringing FaT OuT into this beautiful historic space for the first time, the event celebrates euphoric, exploratory sounds from three artists we’re so excited to see perform in Salford.
Lauren Auder is a songwriter, composer and storyteller crafting baroquely orchestrated pop with emotional and political urgency. Writing through her lived experience as a trans person, Auder treats the body as both site and subject, infusing her music with visceral intensity.
Naima Bock’s music exists in the space between solitude and communion, intimacy and collective warmth. Her songs move fluidly between folk and something harder to define, unfolding at their own pace with careful attention to detail and quiet ambition.
R.AGGS is a Glasgow-based multi-instrumentalist and songwriter known for crafting euphoric, propulsive post-punk. A prolific force in contemporary DIY music, they have gained international acclaim through collaborative projects including Trash Kit, Shopping and Sacred Paws, shaping a distinctive, rhythm-driven sound.
