Screen 32 returns for Autumn and their first
community cinema offering they are collaborating with Psychedelic
DiscoTech to bring you a special evening of film and music. David
Byrne's ever popular 'American Utopia' Broadway musical is brought to
the big screen by award winning director by Spike Lee
In this feature length film singer David Byrne and a group of
international musicians perform songs from the hit Broadway musical
"American Utopia."
Following the film there will be a special panel discussion with Dan
Gretton, writer and Activist, Martin Gutteridge- Stewart Journalist for
DJ and Vice Magazine plus more TBA on the topics raised within the film.
The evening will close with a DJ set so you can dance the night away.
This event is 'pay what you can' to allow everyone regardless of
finances, to access events and activities here at Stretford Public Hall
and everyone will always get the same experience.
However if you are able to pay the ticket price this will help us to continue to keep the hall's events affordable to all.
The recommended ticket price is £10 / £8 concession to cover the full cost of the event. However, there will never be an expectation for someone to pay this.
If you are able to donate a little bit extra this will help support those that cannot afford the full ticket price access the event.
