Having just about recovered from Doc Daneeka’s incredible set, it’s the perfect time to announce our penultimate headline act of the Our House AutumnWinter14 series.

Although we move into the latter stages of the term, we have been working hard to make sure our headliners maintain the high precedent set this term by TCTS, Pedestrian and Doc Daneeka.

We are extremely excited to bring you STAR SLINGER on 28.11.14.

Star Slinger is a Manchester- based producer, DJ, and curator of the international club night and record label ‘Jet Jam’. He first came to attention after releasing his debut beat tape ‘Volume I’ in 2010, which sampled everything from child-fronted reggae to soul to 80’s rock. He has since moved on towards his innovative sampling style with self-confessed inspiration from early Armand Van Helden records, Daft Punk and DJ Falcon.

He gained early experience with mixtapes and bootlegs, with his most notable collaboration being with Lil’ B on original track ‘Bad Bitches’. Since then, Star Slinger has focused more on dance music and soulful house, and his remixing skill has become very much in demand and has overhauled tracks from the likes of Jessie Ware, Gold Panda, Ellie Goulding and Duke Dumont. His love of sampling has made him one of the most exciting producers in electronic music today along with his eclectic combination of hip-hop, dance and soul music.

Currently featuring on the Bondax and Friends Tour it is going to be a rare opportunity to see Star Slinger perform in an intimate venue, our home The Cavern.
