LET'S GO ON A SINGLES SURF TRIP

We are beyond ecstatic to be taking Haystack Dating surf-side with the ultimate long surf weekend.
We’re taking over a surfcamp in in Portugal area and have an itinerary ranging from sunset BBQs to morning surf sessions

Everyone’s single, but this is the furthest thing in the world from an intense dating experience, nor is it surf-side love island…if you’re looking for an amazing weekend of making connections with great people, who also happen to be single, then we’d love to see you there…

Out of 80 guests on the ski trip we hosted back in march, 4 people came in pairs, the rest came solo. our solo attendee rate at events is 94% and everyone has golden retriever energy. every part of this trip to portugal is designed with solo travellers in mind!

Beginners are completely welcome. The instructors in the surfcamp classes are pro’s at teaching complete beginners, advanced level and everyone inbetween!

THURSDAY 4TH JUNE - MONDAY 8TH JUNE

What does the trip include?

• all breakfasts
• all lunches
• all dinners (except saturday night as we’ll be out in lisbon sampling delicious street food with our local friends)
• 3 drinks at the welcome party on night one
• 3 x mornings of surf tuition with professional instructors, appropriate for your level
• all surf kit rental + wetsuits + insurance
• 4 nights accommodation (a short walk to the beach)
• a very special surprise outing haystack style on sunday afternoon/evening, incl 2 drinks...

Each spot on the trip is £715 (we ask for a £200 deposit first and the rest is due 18th May 2026) we have limited spots available and once they’re gone they’re gone)…..

thursday 4th of June - the welcome party

join us at the surfcamp from 4pm for group drinks, a live dj and a hosted bbq, the perfect way to meet the other solo-travellers and settle in

friday 5th of June - surfs up & sunset beach party

start the day with a healthy breakfast before heading to the beach for your first surf lesson. grab lunch from the camp and spend the afternoon either relaxing by the pool, practicing your surf or watching the pro’s...

for the evening we’ll be throwing a beach party with a DJ, delicious food and drinks, all with a beautiful sunset view

saturday 6th of June - surfs up & local experience

start the day with a healthy breakfast before heading to the beach for your second surf lesson. grab lunch and take the afternoon to practice your surf, relax by the pool or wallow in the sea at the beach

then...we’ll be heading into Lisbon with some of our local friends to celebrate the legendary festas dos santos populares in the city

think: street parties, delicious market food and live music for a full immersion into portugese culture.

sunday 7th of June - sunday funday...

start the day with a healthy breakfast before heading to the beach for your final surf lesson! grab lunch and freshen up...

for the afternoon and early evening, we’ll all be heading out for a surprise, haystack style

we really want to say what the surprise is... but surprising guests is our love language lol so we’re keeping things under wraps. could be something great, could be awful ... only one way to find out xx

monday 8th June - journey home

one final team breakfast, then check out is at 11am and the trip is officially finito
