With 15 years of musical enterprise under his belt, Verb T is one of
the biggest names in UK Hip Hop. Having worked with Low Life Records,
YNR Productions and now the unstoppable High Focus Records, Verb T has
secured his spot in the UKHH hall of fame, not to mention the fact that
he now runs his own label - In The Balance Records. One quarter of the
internationally renowned The Four Owls, he has worked with most big
names in UK Hip Hop including Jehst, Sway, Harry Love and has even
provided entertainment within the rap battle scene for Don’t Flop
alongside Matter. Verbs is an artist
with a unique style and lyrical outlook, embracing classic 90′s U.S Hip
Hop incorporated into his own unique musical style and take on life. On
this evening, two of nature’s greatest hunters - lion and owl - come
together to bring you an animalistic night like none other.

After signing with Verb T’s independent label In The Balance Records
last year, Chillman has carved a persona for himself through unworldly
motivation and organic, mindful penmanship. Working closely with Verb T
as his mentor and producer, Chillman brings us a blend of mellow tones
and animated wordplay for his debut LP, Abstract Patterns. Between
boom-bap breaks, sweet aromas, and jazzy chimes, the Hereford MC packs a
free-flowing phrase for every fleeting moment in life. Kick back and
watch Chillman whisk lingering smoke into ancient totems in a calming

Illinformed is a raw, ghostly underground treasure behind the MPC. Like
his older brother, Leaf Dog, he’s apt in levelling audacious and
addictive samples with golden age drum loops to spar with Hip Hop’s most
renowned UK artists. Wether star-gazing or stage diving, the silky
effervescence of Illinformed’s production reaches far and wide. He’s
provided musical backdrops for a vast ranges of lyricists, crowd rockers
and everything in between. The undergrowth of Earth revolted on his
2013 album The Mould Tape, featuring heavyweights from all corners
including Jam Baxter, BVA, Verb T, Split Prophets, Fliptrix, Cracker
Jon, Leaf Dog, Q-Unique and Smellington Piff.

After polishing
the production on the standout Brothers of the Stone LP with BVA and
Leaf Dog in the same year, Illinformed linked with Verb T for The Man
With The Foggy Eyes in 2015, and now available is the eponymous first
single from his upcoming release with Fliptrix, Patterns of Escapism.
With a craft as refined as the product it creates, Illinformed remains a
mystery gem behind an ever-growing number of timelessly laced songs.

Res One is a key member of Bristol’s most prominent Hip Hop
collectives, Split Prophets. Res has been tirelessly working with his
Split Prophets family over the years to solidify their position in the
UKHH scene, both as a group and as a label. From his first release -
Scibbled Thoughts - ft. Upfront and Badhabitz, with features from the
rest of the crew and production by Dgreen, to working on the latest
visually stunning ‘SHE WISH’ with Joe Snow and Datkid, Res’ work rate is
just as undeniable as the energy he brings to the stage. Having
recently travelled to New York on a rap rendez vous to meet with L.i.f.e
Long and Mac Motion, and soon to hit the stage in Oslo with Split
Prophets brother Upfront MC, Res One is set to be a big international
name and is not one to miss out on.
