Skate Into Christmas With WestQuay's Ice Rink

Residents of Hampshire can start feeling the festive spirits, as Westquay will have its very own real ice rink and Alpine style café bar on the Esplanade from November 11th 2017 until January 2nd 2018.

Customers will be able to immerse themselves in the Christmas spirit, and show off their skating skills, on the vast 740 square meters of ice that allows over 200 people to skate at one time.

No matter your age or ability, everyone is invited to take to the ice in the crisp winter sunshine or under twinkly lights and stars in the night sky. For youngsters that may not be too confident on the ice, there will be appropriately themed Penguin and Seal skate aids, so they don’t miss out on the fun.

Westquay's Esplanade will be transformed into a winter wonderland. Moguls Alpine Café Bar will bring the best of the Alps to Southampton. Whether you're skating or spectating, you'll find cosy seating areas set in the specially created and beautifully decorated authentic alpine chalet. Enjoy hot drinks including decadent hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows or fragrant mulled wine and themed steins of beer.

Once visitors have finished gliding across the ice, Westquay offers a vast selection of exceptional restaurants that are sure to complete the perfect day.

The ice rink will be open from 10:30 until 22:00, with the last skating session beginning at 22:00. Prices start from £7.50, with one session lasting an hour.
