Colchester Zoo Trip - Family Day out

We’re off to Colchester Zoo!

Due to popular feedback the Colchester Zoo trip has been scheduled for the Sunday. This is aimed at both Adults and Children and a favourite with Student parents.

What's more we have hired a double decker 80 seater bus to take us there and back and also entry for an all-inclusive price of just £15.00 for Adults and £10.00 for Children. If you don’t need transport and wish to meet us there, that’s fine too just purchase a non-travel £11.00 ticket. (Please note all tickets are subject to a booking fee)

Colchester Zoo is one of Europe's finest zoos with over 260 rare species many part of breeding programmes. Interactive daily displays get you closer to the animals and the zoo offers a wide range of educational activities for schools and groups as well as team building for corporate groups. Colchester Zoo's Action for the Wild is the zoo's charitable arm and is responsible for conservation work around the world. Colchester Zoo's UmPhafa Private Nature Reserve is in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa.

Under 3's go FREE but must sit on a parents lap on the bus. You do not need to purchase a ticket for under 3's.

If you are travelling directly there please meet at the Colchester Zoo entrance at 10.00am promptly and find Malcolm in a hi vest at the entrance of the Zoo.

If you are booking transport the bus will be departing from outside Athena Halls at 9.00am promptly and returning from the Zoo at 5.00pm.

Just bring your mobile phone with you and we will scan this on the day. Don't worry if you have lost it we will have a printed paper back up of all those that have brought tickets just in case.
