Soundwaves Presents Kaluki & Cafe Mambo

Two of Europe's biggest dance brands come to Europe's first inland surf park. This all day festival is the perfect start to the summer. 

KALUKI:

Kaluki was formed in Manchester at the historic Manchester nightclub Sankeys. Then came the critically acclaimed record label, with chart topping releases from Patrick Topping, Solardo, Waff and many many more huge artists. This has seen them rocket to the very top of the world electronic dance scene, this year alone at Ibiza, Mexico, Dubai, Barcelona, London, Warehouse Project and Parklife festival. 

CAFE MAMBO:

Best Known as one of Ibiza's if not the worlds most mesmerizing sunset spots but also a place for tourists and locals to enjoy music from globally renowned DJs. An average week may see the likes of Solomun, Guy Gerber, Eric Pridz and Bob Sinclar take to the decks. Flown in from the white isle the Mambo DJs will be bringing a taste of Ibiza to the Conwy valley. The Sunset set lagoon side is not to be missed.

LEE FOSS (Hot Creations / Repopulate Mars) 

Few DJs have made such a dramatic impact on the underground house and techno scene as Hot Creations & Repopulate Mars label owner Lee Foss. Described by DJ Mag as “one of the most talented new forces in modern dance music today” and by fellow future house innovators Art Department as their favourite producer, Lee has quickly catapulted himself into dance music’s collective consciousness. Lee and his Hot Natured partner Jamie Jones currently spearhead a whole family of like-minded producers that includes Robert James, Russ Yallop, Richy Ahmed and most recently Danny Daze who are currently re-writing the rule book of how to make evocative and emotive house music.

YOUSEF (Circus) 

With releases on Desolat, Bptich Control, Cocoon, Defected and Cecille, and new Yousef music signed and ready to be released this year on Crosstown Rebels, Knee Deep in Sound, Hot Creations,  This & That as well as his own Circus Recordings. Yousef has tackled remixes for The Glitz, Diego, Frank Storm and provided a powerful 'yousef circus rework' version of the legendary Chaka Khan. Yousef's legendary Circus event in his native Liverpool rolls into its 16th year, championing the finest in house & techno since day one.
