Noise Academy joins forces with Akedo game bar to bring 2 full days of workshops to the young people of Lincoln City as part of the Holiday Activities & Food programme.

Noise Academy - About us
We are made up of a team of tutors that are passionate about getting young people excited through our music technology workshops. We teach arts like DJ skills, Beatboxing, and Music production and we can't wait to launch this 'one of a kind' project which will take place on Friday 8th April & Friday 15th April

DJ Skills
Work with professional DJs and learn the basics of DJing and more. Get to grips with mixing tracks together, create epic drops, and walk away with your own mix on Soundcloud. Discover the world of electronic dance music and kick start your journey.

Akedo
Located in the Heart of Lincoln City, the Akedo gaming bar is where the workshops will take place. This fantastic and unique venue is packed full of games consoles dating back to the early 1990s to the present day - They pretty much have everything from Playstation, through to XBOX, SEGA, VR and the list goes on. If you are a Gamer then this is for you - Get involved, battle your friends, and win prizes.

MIKEY BEATS 

UK Beatboxing finalist Mikey Beats joins us for an exclusive guest appearance as part of an additional enrichment incentive. Learn the basics of Beatboxing including all things 'Boots & Cats' and whiteness mind-blowing demonstrations.

How it works

• When arrive you will be allocated to a group
• Open to ages 10 - 16 years
• Maximum of 30 spaces available per day
• 30 students will be split into 3 groups of 10 that will rotate around 3 exciting workshops across the day

Nutrition

• You will receive a FREE 'Healthy' hot meal along with a healthy snack and a drink.
• Our healthy meals will be provided by the new 'Grillin & Chillin cafe' on Burton road
• Let us know of any food allergies or special requirements.
