**IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT**

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have had to cancel the Blue Lab Beats + Vels Trio show at Badehaus on December 2nd 2018.

We are already working on new dates to bring both bands to Berlin.

On behalf of the artists' management, agencies and Noize Fabrik, we apologize for the inconveniences this may cause.

All tickets will be refunded by Wednesday the 28th of November.

Blue Lab Beats
are producer NK-OK and multi-instrumentalist Mr DM. The pair met at age
13 and 18, bonding over a mutual admiration for jazz, hip-hop and
neo-soul and electronica. The band’s debut releases 'Blue Skies' and
'Freedom' received widespread critical acclaim from tastemakers both
inside and outside of the genre, across radio and press including Giles
Peterson, Benji B, Toddla T, DAZED, The Guardian, i-D, Jazz FM and
Afropunk to name a few. Their debut album, "Xover's", released in March
2018, has a clear focus on collaborations throughout different genres,
featuring artists including; Kojey Radical, Moses Boyd, Kaidi Akinnibi,
Nerija, members of Triforce, Dylan Jones from Ezra Collective, Ruby
Francis, Otha Soul, Nubya Garcia, James Vickery and Tiana Major9.

It’s been exciting early days for Brighton based experimental group Vels Trio
since meeting in 2014. Being almost indistinguishable by any sole
genre, the group’s mutual loves and individual fortes across prog,
electronic, jazz, funk and hip-hop has paved the collective way for
their early sound, with a keen desire in improvisation. The band's drive
to perform and consistently push their live prowess has propelled them
into the live arena to share stages with acts such as Cory Henry and the
Funk Apostles, Sons of Kemet, Moses Boyd’s Exodus, Let Spin and two
performances at the illustrious Love Supreme Festival. After 3 years of
tirelessly indulging in their passion for music in an endeavour to
explore, discover and create – Vels Trio are ready to unveil their
inaugural release Yellow Ochre EP – a small collage of their
friendships, high times and experiences as a band so far.
