THE DULAKES

Based in Leeds, Dulakes have consistently taken their unique brand of alternative rock across venues around the country. Formed in 2024 and consisting of Ramsay Irwin (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Joe Rainbow (lead guitar, backing vocals), James Gavin (bass), and Nat Dowding (drums), the four-piece met in university.

Aggressive, melancholic, and always loud, the band’s diverse track list aims to defy categorisation as it moves from one feeling to the next. Across a steady stream of releases from the beginning of 2025, Dulakes have honed their distinct sound into a lyrically introspective, rhythmically tight, and thumpingly loud style of alternative rock music. Their gigs take this tracklist and intensifies them into an energetic wall of sound that refuses to let up, creating an intensely cathartic live show. With their consistent single releases and live shows, Dulakes are beginning to force themselves as a staple of the alternative scene.
