Tim Burgess is best known as the frontman of The Charlatans but is so much more than that, a best selling author, award winning radio show host, he has his own brand of coffee, a stage he curates at festivals around the UK,
At 21 Tim joined and fronted The Charlatans, who went on to become one of the U.K’s most venerated and respected indie bands. The love of using soul, R&B and garage rock with later influences of acid house created their unique sound that reaped continued chart successes, worldwide tours and even support slots for The Who and the Rolling Stones.
They have also collaborated with the likes of Paul Weller and Johnny Marr. As a DJ, Tim cut his teeth at the legendary Heavenly Social in London and toured with The Chemical Brothers (as well as providing vocals on a couple of their tracks).
From London to New York to Stockholm, Tim knows how to keep a dance floor alive. From northern soul to hip hop, indie and everything in between, he has the innate ability to provide exactly what’s needed.
